Susan Shea-Gerson is equal parts writer, reader, shooter and budding archery enthusiast. She is presently working on her first book related to the firearms industry and has recently become involved with the NRA Women’s Leadership Forum after attending the Women’s Wilderness Escape at the beautiful Whittington Center in Raton, New Mexico. While attending the WWE Susan earned her bow hunter certification, and in addition to her keen interest in archery, she also discovered a love for shooting five-stand sporting clays. As a result, she now plans to complete both the NRA shotgun and rifle certification programs so that she may work as an instructor with her sons’ Boy Scout troops and perhaps one day as a Women’s Wilderness Escape instructor at the Whittington Center.
In the very near future, Susan plans to establish a blog chronicling her new adventures in archery and eventually her path to completing both her shotgun and rifle NRA Instructor Certification programs. She currently lives in southern Connecticut with her husband and two young sons.
