Happy Wednesday! How are you?
Tracy and I wanted to update you on how our first 3-gun competition of the year went in Utah this past weekend. We competed in the 3-gun Nation Western Regional in St. George, Utah. It was the first 3-gun Nation type event we have participated in since we started really competing in 3-gun last May. We saw some huge improvements in our shooting from last year and were happy with how things are progressing. Unfortunately we both did make some rookie mistakes and ran past a few targets that ended up costing us a lot of time in penalties. It was a great learning experience though and gave us even more motivation and confidence going into the next event on the 7th and 8th of March in Texas. We ended up 3rd and 5th in the Ladies category.
We have a lot of competitions coming up and are hoping that with more experience and competitions under our belt we can start moving up the field even more. Our next competition is another 3-gun Nation Regional in Marble Falls, Texas March 7-8th. Then we head to Superstition Mountain 3-gun in Arizona at the end of March followed by Multi-gun Nationals in Vegas, 3-gun Lady in Utah, and 3-gun Nation Regional in Alabama in April.
We will be getting our new competition shirts in the next couple of weeks and will make sure and send you some pictures. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you and thank you so much for all your support. Have a great rest of your week and we’ll keep you posted on how the next competition goes. Take care and Thanks again!
