Applying for membership in The WOMA is a two-step process:

  1. Submit your membership application.
  2. Submit payment for a 6-month ($40), 12-month ($60) or 24-month membership term ($100).  If you are submitting your application online, you will receive a link to the payment page in your submission confirmation.

Your membership will be on a pending basis for a maximum of 30 days and will become fully active upon receipt of your payment and approval of your application. If for any reason we do not receive your payment or reject your application, your pending membership will be deactivated.

Criteria for Membership

Please include the following information in your membership application biography:

  • Samples of “women oriented” programs (traditional and non-traditional formats) you have been involved with relating to shooting sports and/or hunting and fishing traditions.
  • Information pertaining to your outdoor industry company and how you (as the member) intend to be involved with media related towards women, and/or media about women, and their successful involvement in shooting sports and/or hunting and fishing traditions.
  • Criteria relating to your professional “competition” status in shooting sports and/or hunting and fishing traditions.
  • If you are a motivational speaker list entities where you speak about/assist on issues dealing with shooting sports and/or hunting and fishing traditions.
  • If you are a volunteer coordinator for a “woman oriented” outdoor program relating to shooting sports and/or hunting and fishing traditions please list the type/types and year/years of involvement.
  • Links to any online articles you have published relating to your field(s) of interest.  Articles must have been published no later than 2006.
