Jody Narantic – Member of The WOMA
Jody Narantic, aka “The Hunter’s Wife,” publishes the blog titled The Hunter’s Wife where she finds humor living with her all-around outdoors guy. She’s the girl in borrowed camouflage with the painted fingernails — proving that opposites do attract. Married to her husband for 10 years, this city girl is still trying to adjust to life in the outdoors. After taking her first fishing trip just 5 years ago, Jody realized there is nothing more breathtaking than being in the middle of a beautiful lake spending time with your husband enjoying a day of fishing.
Kim Pezzeminti – Member of The WOMA
Kim Pezzeminti is the “wearer of many hats” with two brands and companies: DoeVille the Female Huntress and Buki Originals. After working almost 20 years in the ceramic tile industry and traveling extensively, she decided to touch down and keep her feet on the ground in Florida, where she created Doeville.com, which sells custom clothing and accessories.
Kim was 41 when she shot her first spike buck at 200 yards during muzzleloading season. She still considers herself to be a “huntress in training” under the loving and patient tutelage of her husband, Sandy. Not only do Kim and Sandy enjoy hunting from their two-seater tree stand, dubbed “the love nest,” but they also enjoy trying different wild game recipes together.
Member of The WOMA – Jason Baird

Jason is a freelance photographer and writer whose photo credits have appeared in many outdoor publications, including America’s 1st Freedom (cover), Fly Fisherman and JAKES, as well as numerous Missouri newspapers. His articles have appeared in Bass Pro Shops Outdoors Online Library.
His full-time job as an explosives engineer and professor at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Mo., keeps him occupied when he’s not finding fodder for new articles. He is president of Loki Inc., “specialists in explosives, propellants and pyrotechnics,” a consulting firm that he also runs.
As “First Man” of The WOMA (as a result of being married to the president, Barbara Baird), Jason does not host teas or show up for smiling photo opportunities, although he does instruct NRA-certified pistol courses at a local gun range with Barbara. A former United States Air Force Academy pistol shooting team competitor and commander of the RAF Cranwell shooting team, Jason knows his way around a range. Jason and Barbara are parents to their four grown children and friends to their two daughters-in-law. He is a member of the Southeastern Outdoor Press Association, too.
Georgette Wood – Member of WOMA
Georgette Wood was born in the small town of Indiana, Pennsylvania. As a child, she often went fishing for rainbow trout with her father, a great lover of the outdoors. When she was older, he also took her to explore the woods and scout for deer. On their first hunting expedition when she was 14, he shot a deer and she was crushed. Since then, Georgette, now married to Rick, an avid outdoorsman and her outdoors mentor, has learned to hunt and to shoot a handgun. In 2008, she killed her first deer–without shedding any tears this time.
Georgette and Rick own GSS Competiton, LLC, an online sporting goods supply store. In addition to helping Rick operate the business, Georgette is also learning to reload .223 and .308 cartridges on the Dillon machines. Though GSS Competiton does not sell ammunition, they prefer to reload rounds for their own use, to ensure the highest possible quality and consistency.
Since she was 40 before she learned how to shoot a rifle and pistol, Georgette believes, “You’re never too old to learn.” She is a member of the NRA, Women Outdoors and Women on Target, and actively supports the National Wild Turkey Federation. Whether she’s taking a walk, riding her bike or practicing with her new bow, Georgette always enjoys the outdoors and encourages every woman to get outside and play.
