The Women’s Outdoor Media Association invites you to stop in, have a cup of Starbucks Coffee or Tazo Tea and learn more about the organization at the upcoming NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Charlotte, N.C., this Saturday, May 15, 2010. The WOMA lounge will be in the Queens Room at the Westin Charlotte, from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The Women’s Outdoor Media Association focuses on increasing media coverage of women who are active in traditional outdoor sports, especially shooting, hunting, fishing and archery. For more information, see http://www.thewoma.com.
Madam DoeVille to be featured on ‘Outdoors with Larry Rea’ this Saturday
Kim Pezzeminti, aka Madam DoeVille, will be talking to radio host Larry Rea on Sat., Sept. 19. The show, ‘Outdoors with Larry Rea,’ airs on Memphis station Country Legends WMC AM 79 on Saturdays from 6-7:30 a.m. Listeners may enjoy taped sessions at WWW.MYOUTDOORTV.COM. After working almost 20 years in the ceramic tile industry and traveling extensively, Pezzeminti relocated to Florida five years ago and created the DoeVille concept. Her online store features custom clothing and outdoor-related products and artwork. A dog lover, Pezzeminti also sells silver and turquoise dog tags created by artist Nancy Anderson.
She considers herself to be a huntress in training, under the patient tutelage of her husband, Sandy. The Pezzemintis enjoy hunting from their two-seater tree stand, dubbed “the love nest,” and also enjoy cooking different wild game recipes together.
